A combined experimental and DFT study on the zero valent iron/reduced graphene oxide doped QCM sensor for determination of trace concentrations of As using a Flow-batch system
Summary
A gold QCM modified with zero-valent iron nanoparticles anchored on reduced graphene oxide detects arsenic, as arsine, in an automated flow-batch system. The modification makes total arsenic measurement far more sensitive than with the bare gold sensor, and density functional theory calculations of arsine adsorption on the surfaces support the experimental results.
