Verification of quartz crystal microbalance array using vector network analyzer and OpenQCM
Summary
An array of six 3 MHz QCM sensors was characterised with a vector network analyzer, fitting the S21 transmission to the Butterworth–Van Dyke model to extract the equivalent circuit values, in triplicate. The resonance frequencies measured with the portable open-source OpenQCM differed from the analyzer’s by only 0.2%, supporting the array for point-of-care biosensing.
