Enzyme-Based Biosensor Production and Investigation of Sensitivity Properties
Summary
Thesis on enzyme-based vapour sensors: thin films of polyphenol oxidase mixed with organic materials were spin-coated at different thicknesses on glass and quartz crystals. The films were characterised by UV-visible spectroscopy and QCM, and the QCM was then used to measure how they respond to several organic vapours and what the enzyme adds.
