Heated quartz crystal microbalance with highly controlled integration of ZIF-67 for ultra-reliable humidity sensing
Summary
Electrospray deposition places the metal-organic framework ZIF-67 on a defined area of a QCM with picogram control, avoiding the clumps that make humidity sensors unreliable. A built-in microheater drives off residual water so the sensor can recalibrate itself; compared with the unheated device, hysteresis drops 47-fold and drift 8-fold.
