ONE HOSTING SPACE FOR ALL YOUR SENSORS

Our innovative design has broadened the compatibility of the sensor module, making it adaptable with an extensive variety of sensors and openQCM Q-1 and Wi2 devices.

The sensor module is engineered to accommodate quartz sensors of two distinct sizes: 14mm and 25.4mm (1 inch), with varying fundamental frequencies. This design flexibility enhances its versatility in different applications.

Moreover, the sensor module has been designed to support both a microfluidic window with tubing interfaces and an open window. The former allows for fluidic connections, while the latter facilitates direct pipetting of samples onto the sensor surface, expanding the scope of potential experimental setups.

Magnetic Counteraction Lever for O-Ring Pressure Regulation

To accommodate sensors of varying thicknesses, we’ve engineered a dual-function rotating mechanism. This design allows for the adjustment of the cell height relative to the sensor surface, and on the flip side, it enables precise tuning of the O-ring pressure exerted on the quartz crystal surface. By utilizing a specific frequency shift as an indicator, we can accurately determine the O-ring pressure on the sensor.

PROXIMITY ELECTRONICS

The openQCM sensor module features built-in electronics that maintain electrical connectivity with sensitive elements using pogo-pins. It also incorporates an I2C temperature sensor, which boasts a maximum resolution as precise as 0.0625°C.
